Once upon a time, there was 2! Then there was 5, but by Buchanty there were only 3.
In the end though there was only one, bit like Highlander.. (not that I am French trying to speak in a scottish accent to a scot who was trying to be spanish or that I am Immortal). Anyway the run, 100k (sounds better than 60 miles), flattish route to the Sma Glen and down to Madderty. But before I tell you about that I have to tell you about this. PUNCTURE, nearly took AM off his bike as I got a corner wobble on the deflating tyre. Flat fixed, tyre no pumped up enough … so carefully back to Canto for a very welcome cup-o-tea.
Anyway, Luncarty to Buchanty saw Dave throw in the towel … boy would I (and him) like to get my hands on the b’stard who pushed him off his bike in Embra (one down). Bill, “remembered” he had to see Rowan playing rugby and ducked out at Buchanty. The Sma Glen, why oh why did I have to pedal all the way down it. Right then now we are heading for Madderty pfist pfst pfst.. new tube please! Uneventful run into Cafe Canto, the chef said he was expecting us an hour earlier… really!
John and Alan headed for Johns house I took the normal low road route home… on my own.. lonely…. ever so lonely… nah not really … more like quite fatigued average was 14.1 must do better.
    The End.

Nice run apart from the road surface between Redgorton and Buchanty, shit to say the least, at one point we were going downhill but felt like i was going up Ballo hill the surface was so bad, was a great run from buchanty to perth the road surface past Glenalmond was fantastic so got the average up to 16mph for the days run, not a great average but the road was to blame for most of that.
