Where we stop for a brew and to thaw out/Dry out and stiffen up!

Meigle Joinery: great scones great service!

Pot and Pantry (Meigle): excellent coffee.

Kirmichael (post office, shop and garage): We sat outside in the spring sunshine.

Usige Murthly

Cafe Canto Perth: You can sit outside and enjoy the coffee and tray bakes. Sadly no longer with us.

Birnam Cafe: great thawing out place – they even let you in when they are setting up!

Rannoch Station: where Dick Emery was spotted mincing along the platform! Nice carrot cake.

The Red Squirrel Crieff – Busy place on a Sunday.

Hansens Kitchen Comrie – small Deli with a few tables.

Gloagburn: Nice but pricey… good bacon rolls … cheers Bill!

Stewart Towers: best avoided

MidSummer or MidWinter … Ardler Tav is braw.

Panzerotti Forfar: great coffee and welcoming staff and fab Panettoni.

    The Ballathie Coffee shop as nice as the setting was their scone were closer to shortbread than I’ve had elsewhere, not the best!

    What about Balbeggie garage. Hot scones just out the oven around 10.30 Sunday morning hard to beat!

    What about Gloagburn! It was nice but a little pricey (especially the Bacon Rolls)!
