Where we stop for a brew and to thaw out!
Meigle Joinery: great scones great service!
Kirmichael (post office, shop and garage): We sat outside in the spring sunshine.
Ballathie Coffee Shop: maybe not for sweaty cyclists but pleasant all the same.
Cafe Canto Perth: You can sit outside and enjoy the coffee and tray bakes.
Birnam Cafe: great thawing out place – they even let you in when they are setting up!
Rannoch Station: where Dick Emery was spotted mincing along the platform! Nice carrot cake.
Balbeggie Garage: Scones fresh out the over at about 10:30 on a Sunday… yum (thanks Alan) – Its a shame this is now closed.
Gloagburn: Nice but pricey… good bacon rolls … cheers Bill!
Stewart Towers: best avoided
MidSummer or MidWinter … Ardler Tav is braw
The Ballathie Coffee shop as nice as the setting was their scone were closer to shortbread than I’ve had elsewhere, not the best!
What about Balbeggie garage. Hot scones just out the oven around 10.30 Sunday morning hard to beat!
That is a fair point …
What about Gloagburn! It was nice but a little pricey (especially the Bacon Rolls)!
Aye but, I have never been there… ever!
