Post Nessie – May 1st

Life carries on after a cracking weekend in Inverness at Etape Loch Ness and for some of us (me) there is Etape Caledonia to come next weekend.

So this weekend is going to be up and over Dunning Glen.

This will be a Perth Start point at 8.30 at the South Inch Perth. Cars can be parked there to save the cycle in as we will be returning to the same point.

Route will be Bridge of Earn, Forgandenny, Dunning, Dunning Glen, Yetts o’Muckhart, Milnathort and Glenlommond Village. From there it will either be Gatside to Bridge or Earn or Auchtermuchty to Bridge of Earn. Regardless coffee will be in Bridge of Earn before the short hop back to where we started.

See whoever there. it may be wet and windy!

No Tayside challenge then ? Sadly, can’t make this weekend as prospective in- laws visit, and next is the Bealach/Caledonia double !! Lets just hope for some slightly warmer weather !!

I’d decided i’d been over Amulree too often in recent weeks so will give it a miss this year. But Dunning Glen is nice run instead. Make sure that you are on your best behaviour this weekend. Don’t forget your arm warmers next weekend 🙂 The Caledonia organisers are being a bit shoddy with no word yet of start times.
