Sunday 23rd August – An MTB run.

Where to go?

Who’s going?

So, well, right then, while out on my bike last Sunday, before I bumped in to Ashley and Alan, I saw a wee sign to The Pass of Birnam (next to the Sawmill)… you know the sawmill, the one Dave always comments on the smell of the freshly sawn wood.  Anyway, time for a wee bit of an explore on the MTB to see if you can get to Birnam from there (I think the A9 might be in the way, but there is possibly a tunnel to go through)… The route will be as follows: on Road to Murthly, then off the public roads to the sawmill, down the Pass of Birnam path. get to Birnam, Dunkeld for Coffee and back. The challenge back from Birnam/Dunkeld after coffee is to avoid made roads as much as possible 🙂

Can’t make it, as I’m doing Sunday lunch for fifteen. Hopefully see you on 30th.

Plenty of freshly sawn timber where I am this week but there will be no biking. Have fun off highlighter
