The Sunday that was

The meeting point at Cherrybank was crowded today. John and I gate crashed the Tri Club boys with BP guesting for them. They were happy for us to join their “easy” run but we decided to do our own thing. My cold of this week was still hanging around so was not feeling like a 69 mile chase. We tagged behind as everyone heads up Necessity Brae, half way up John confesses that his pouch with spare tube etc was still at home as was his rain jacket.
It was wet It was Windy It was a Head wind! Decision made Dunning Glen can wait for a nicer day. Along the backroad to Forgandenny and Bridge of Earn. Rhynd next. It was pleasant with the tail wind now. Up my favourite hill and head back to Brig Farm for coffee and bacon roll. Craigend to Aberdalgie was nippy with some short sharp climbs and then the climb all the way up and back down necessity. John is going to try an upload his stats to Strava 🙂
